We confirm high school students at St. Mark, because confirmation, a sign instituted by Christ and the Church, has also become a sign of assuming the adult responsibilities of faith. So Faith, one of our high school candidates for confirmation asks the same questions that adults ask about being a Catholic.
Questions of Faith is a short series that addresses the connection between the life we each experience and the religious life of liturgy, sacraments, and our choices in life. What do the body and blood of Jesus and infant baptism have to do with Halloween, separation of church and state, and the pro-life thing? Why do some Catholics “love the Latin Mass while also having a strong dislike for the New Translation of the mass.”
Join Fr. John each Thursday in October to discuss Questions of Faith.
