Shantell Rains-Kubat

Shantell is the parish Compliance Officer and is responsible for ensuring all who are employed and volunteer at St. Mark support and follow our Guidelines for the Prevention of and Response to Sexual Misconduct and implement an effective Safe Environment program. I also work with our Pastor and couples to provide guidance and support for those entering the Sacrament of Marriage or Annulments. 

I have my Level 1 Certification from the Diocese of Tucson Office of Catechesis and I am actively participating in the Common Formation Program in preparation for Lay Ecclesial Ministry (LEM) Certification which is a four-year program. God willing, I will complete my studies in the spring of 2026. It is a pleasure serving my parish community.
