Leyla U. Lara

Leyla comes to St. Mark after being a stay-at-home mom for 15 years. She and her husband moved from Michigan fourteen years ago and have raised their three beautiful children as if they were native, desert creatures.  As the scheduler and media/communications person, she is in charge of making room arrangements for all our events.  She is also in charge of bulletin content as well as social media marketing.  Leyla received dual degrees in Marketing & Advertising from Michigan State University, making her a true, die-hard, Spartan fan. She also earned an Associate's Degree in Graphic Design. She was born and raised in Honduras and also lived in Nicaragua, where most of her family currently resides.  In her spare time, she loves journaling, coloring, and calligraphy and has a collection of pens/markers and everything stationery.
