Obituary for William Joseph Blair, Sr.

William Joseph Blair, Sr., 71, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2019. He was born in Tupper Lake, New York on May 27, 1947 to William I. Blair and Marion T. Blair from Easthampton, Massachusetts. William was a long-time resident of Springfield, Massachusetts before moving to Marana.
 
William was married to Nivia Blair on June 3, 1967. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Marion Blair.   He is survived by his loving wife, Nivia, of 53 years; his children William Blair, Jr. (Angie) from Agawam, Massachusetts; sister Nancy Labonte from Easthampton, MA; and brothers Thomas Blair from Marana, AZ, and James Blair of Easthampton, MA; as well as grandsons Christopher and Aden.
 
William enjoyed playing pool, fishing and being with family and friends.  He was a proud veteran of the United States Marines.  William was a loyal friend to many and was definitely a people person.  He will be missed by his family and many friends.
 
A funeral Mass and celebration of life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2019 at St. Mark Catholic Church, 2727 W. Tangerine Road, Oro Valley, AZ.
