Obituary for Shirley Ann Thompson

Shirley Ann Thompson 71, passed away on September 4, 2021.  She was born in Miami, Florida on December 8, 1949. Shirley was a resident of Oro Valley, Arizona.

Shirley love to spend time with family and friends. She was a devoted catholic and a member of St. Mark Catholic Church. She also was an avid golfer.

She is survived by her cherished husband, Michael of 51 years, 2 children, Kevin Michael Thompson and Tracey Ellen Klell and her grandchildren, Connor Michael, Kyle Martyn and Ryleigh AnnShe was a devoted wife, and grandmother. She will be missed by her family and friends.

A visitation will be held at Desert Sunset Funeral Home, 3081 W. Orange Grove Rd., Tucson, AZ on September 24th at 2:00 p.m. A celebration of life will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church, 2727 W. Tangerine Road, Oro Valley, AZ on Monday, September 27th   with a Holy Rosary at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m.

Shirley will be laid to rest in the Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery 15950 N. Luckett Road, Marana, Arizona 85658 on September 28th at 9:00 a.m.
