Born on May 24, 1945 in Peabody, Massachusetts, “Bob” was known for his friendly outgoing personality and charming smile. A 1962 graduate from Peabody High School, he was active in the school band. In his early years he loved to hunt, fish, water ski, play tennis, golf, and build model airplanes. Bob served our country in the 102nd Field Artillery of the Army National Guard, a unit with a proud heritage dating back to its organization in the Massachusetts Volunteer Militia. Receiving a Bachelor of Science, with High Honors, from Bentley College, he went onto a successful career as a computer systems analyst. Concurrently he fulfilled numerous leadership roles in coaching, scouting, and parenting his three boys. Retirement brought opportunities to root for his beloved Patriots and Red Sox, spend time with Joyce and enjoy his pool.
Bob was especially known for his smile, sense of humor, and natural singing voice, often heard around the house. He was selflessly dedicated to family and friends - going out of his way to help others at any time. A happy, loving man who will be missed dearly by all whose hearts he touched. As a devout Catholic, a funeral Mass for family and friends will be held at 1pm on June 7, 2021 at St. Mark The Evangelist Catholic Church, 2727 W. Tangerine Road, Oro Valley, AZ 85742.
