Obituary for Peter Wagle

Peter Arthur Wagle, 63, of Tucson, AZ, passed away on November 1st, 2024.

Peter was born on May 7th, 1961 to Robert Fay Wagle & Frances Hurst Wagle. Peter graduated from Amphi High School in 1978, then obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of Arizona. Peter held many titles while in the hospitality/restaurant industry. While employed with Chart House he held the title of Regional Vice President until he left in 2016 to pursue his dream of opening up his own restaurant. In 2017 purchased BrushFire BBQ & Creamery in Tucson, AZ until he retired in January 2024.

Peter had a love for the White Mountains, fishing, football, travel, and the ocean as well as spending time with family and friends. He was kind, funny and generous to a fault. His sense of humor will be deeply missed. Peter was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert Wagle Jr. and survived by his sisters Kate Wagle (Richard Gehrke), Betsie Wagle & Brother Andrew Wagle (Christina). As well as his nieces and nephew.

The Family would like to thank the many Doctors, Nurses, and Techs at Northwest Medical Center Houghton, Tucson Medical Center, Encompass Health Tucson, and Peppi’s Hospice House for the amazing care that they provided to Peter.

Services for Peter will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church on Thursday, November 21st, 2024 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the following charities in Peter’s memory.
