Three months ago, I was writing to all of you to introduce myself, since I was appointed by the Most Rev. Bishop Kicanas to do my Pastoral Internship in this great community of Saint Mark. Now, it is time to express my appreciation for the great confidence and friendships I have had here at Saint Mark over the past three months. As some of you know, I will be continuing my formation in Fort Worth, TX, where I will study the Clinical Pastoral Education program in a local hospital; after that, I will return to my seminary, Saint Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, IL, to resume my theological studies.
Leaving this great parish will not be easy. I have genuinely enjoyed working with our amazing staff and with the different ministries: Jr. High Youth Ministry, Life Teen, RCIA, Spanish Bible Group, Divorced and Separated Group, Devotion to our Lady of Perpetual Help, RE, Little Tots. I also enjoyed meeting you all during Sunday Masses and weekday Masses.
Thank you to each one of you for your love and support. All of you are in my prayers and I know I can count with yours! May God bless all of you.
