Twenty First Sunday in Ordinary Time

Ideology is an idea about how the human world operates. By its nature, it is directed towards this world. Communism, liberalism, nazism, conservative, progressive and liberal are all ideologies - some better, much better, that others. But the Catholic Faith is not an ideology - Catholics may have hopes for this world, they might even be arch ideologues - but the Faith entrusted to St. Peter promises triumph over death, not an increase in the GDP or a global order.
