Music Ministry

We are called as earthly children of God to echo the sound of angels in heaven by creating conversion in the hearts, minds, and souls that prayerfully participate in our music at each liturgy.

Conversion is inspired when the three elements of our ministry are exemplified:

• Spiritual engagement lifts our hearts and the hearts of the congregation with full, (an act of the soul), active (an act of the body), and conscious (an act of the mind) participation in Mass

• Liturgical awareness makes us participants in a communal action; inspiring worship through the senses of sound and sight.

• Musicality helps us express our prayers with historical knowledge of the pieces we sing; understanding of the composition style in which we sing it; and technical skill to sing with quality.
