Works of Mercy Council will be setting up The Giving Tree this year to meet the needs of those in our local community. The tree will have tags for items to purchase, you may also find gift ideas on this event page for The Giving Tree. There are three ways to contribute to The Giving Tree: donate an unwrapped gift, a gift card to designated stores, or donate directly to organizations listed below.
Gifts are due by December 13.
This year we are sponsoring Casa de los Niños- a social service agency offering Foster Care, Parenting skills, Counseling, and classes for families in need. St. Mark is one of the top contributors to Casa de los Niños. The unwrapped gifts are chosen by Parents, Foster Families or Social Workers. They will wrap them to give to the children in need. Should any gifts be leftover, the organization will store and use them for birthdays, graduations, etc. Please see below for the following suggested gifts for ages Infant thru Late Teens.
GIFT IDEAS
Your unwrapped gifts may be left under the Giving Tree and will be stored by one of our Council members.
