March 12, 2019On Sunday, March 10, 2019, our Catechumens and Candidates participated in the Rite of Election at St. Augustine Cathedral with Bishop Edward Weisenburger. During this Rite, the catechumens formally declared their wish to enter fully into the life of the Church through the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and First Eucharist. Please pray for them in these weeks leading up to the Easter Vigil on April 20, 2019.
Father of Love, guide these our elect who continue their journey with you through this Lenten Season to the glory of Easter. Build them into the kingdom of your Son and seal them with the Spirit of your promise. Amen.
