Henry Cha Ochoa passed away Sunday October 29
th 2017 following a brief illness. Henry leaves behind his wife of 64 years Christina G. Ochoa, his five children, Teresa Ochoa (Michael) Victor Ochoa, Marianna Leonardi (Livio), Christopher Ochoa (Shavon), Henry Ochoa, 13 grandchildren , 16 great grandchildren one great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
Henry was born August 21, 1929 in Bisbee, Arizona to Conrad and Mariana Ochoa (deceased); he had three brothers, Conrad, Alejo and Hector (all deceased) and two Sisters, Angie (deceased) and Erlinda Niven (Ernie) still living in Whitney, Texas.
Henry joined the Army in 1949 and served in the Korean War as a medic, he was awarded a variety of medals. After leaving the military, he met Christina Gutierrez and soon after was married, Henry worked for 20 years for Standard oil, became a Millwright and finally a Contractor. He worked hard all his life and lived for his family. He was a great father and Grandfather not only to his Children and Grandkids but to many of his nieces and nephews. He was a kind, loving and hard-working man that will never be forgotten by the lives he touched. Services will be held at 9:00 am on Friday, November 17, 2017 St. Mark Catholic Church 2727 W Tangerine Road in Oro Valley.
