Theresa J. Cosgrove, “Aunt Nini, 86 years young, couldn’t help but answer the call from Jesus, family, and friends. Theresa passed away on May 12, 2021. After an amazingly strong, vibrant hold on life, she let go peacefully with family at her side.
Originally from NYC and relocated to Tucson in 2000, she is survived by her grieving sister Diane, brother Jackie and sisters in law Gloria and Brenda, 3 living, loving children Cindi, Michael, and Mary, 5 adoring grandchildren Eric, Rachel, Shannon, Kiersten and Chris, and 4 beautiful great-grandchildren Jason, Miles, Willow, Meadow in addition of her cousins, nieces, and nephews. We will all mourn her passing.
She will join her firstborn, our beloved Kathy, who has patiently waited with the brightest light to guide her way…
Theresa loved life and her Lord with the passion of a true Leo. She adored her Phalene, Frankie and everyone she touched remembered her for her kindness and her fierce determination to live as God wanted her to live…
A funeral Mass and celebration of life will be held at 9:30 a.m. Holy Rosary and 10:0 a.m. Mass on
Monday, May 24th, 2021 at St. Mark The Evangelist Catholic Church, 2727 W. Tangerine Road, Oro Valley,
AZ. 85742 followed by a reception and cremation ceremony at Vistoso Funeral Home, chapel, 2285 Vistoso Blvd. Oro Valley, AZ 85755. The final resting place for both Theresa and her daughter Kathrine will be the Hackensack Cemetery in Hackensack, NJ where even more family members and dear, life-long friends who loved her so, will say the final farewells. Donations can be made to the St. Jude’s Fund in her name.
