Obituary for Richard W. Lane

Richard W. Lane, aged 84, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2023. He was born on May 14, 1938, in Vassar, Michigan to Beatrice and Carson Lane.

He grew up in Michigan with his sister, Nancy. He will be greatly missed by all his friends and family, but especially by his wife Dorothy, daughter Karen and grandchildren Diwa and Forest.

Richard joined the Navy after high school where he began his training as a master electrician. He spent most of his career as a facilities manager. Richard was very handy and able to fix almost everything from ceiling fans to lawn mowers.

Richard believed in being of service to those around him. He was happy to use
his talents to maintain and repair the homes of those he loved. His Honey-do
lists were very long!

He was well read, friendly and enjoyed conversing with people. He loved art and history, but most of all, his friends and family with whom he created many happy memories.

A Funeral Mass with be held at St. Mark The Evangelist Chapel, 2727 W. Tangerine Rd. Oro Valley, AZ on April 18 th , 2023, at 10:00 am.
