It is with great sadness to announce the death of our beloved and devoted mother, Margaret Mary Nagore (nee Reckart). She passed away on March 19, 2024 after a long fight with dementia. She was born on Oct. 26, 1930 in Monroe, Michigan. While still young, she moved with her family to Tucson, Ariz., where she spent most of the rest of her life. After graduating from Tucson High School she earned a degree in nursing and spent over 30 years working as an operating room registered nurse, mostly at Carondelet St Mary's Hospital, before retiring in 1996. With her dearly departed husband, Charles Henry Nagore (passed Sept. 11, 1997), she also pursued service with her Roman Catholic faith as an active member of Sacred Heart Church, mostly as a member of its choir and other activities. She is survived by her children: Brian (Emily) Nagore, Robert (Julie) Nagore, Katherine (Pete) Rascon, Charles (Laura) Nagore, Juliann Nagore, David (Lynne) Nagore and Gilbert (Luisa) Nagore, 13 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; as well as a great many in-laws, cousins, nephews and nieces.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 7 East University Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85705. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday April 6, 2024, 10:00 AM, at St. Marks Catholic Church, 2727 W. Tangerine Rd, Oro Valley AZ 85742. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery, 3555 N. Oracle Rd., Tucson, AZ 85705.
