Helen was a beautiful, loving and kind woman. She had the most radiant smile that would brighten up the room. Her laugh was infectious, one couldn’t help but laugh with her. She touched so many lives and made everyone feel special no matter who they were.
Helen attended and graduated from Pueblo High School in 1995. During her years at Pueblo, she was a Cheerleader, for the Football and Wrestling teams. Her best highlight was when she performed with the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders at an Arizona Cardinal Game in Glendale, AZ.
Helen became Godmother to her sister’s two sons, Steven, and Alexzander Bustamante. She loved to babysit and take care of them. Fond memories are ofher taking them in her arms and dancing with them when they were little.
Helen loved being a mom to her beautiful baby boy Andre and her beautiful baby girl Monae. You could always find her relaxing at home, spending quality time with her children and mom. Sunday nights were their family dinner and movie nights. These are special memories her children will hold close to their hearts. She was so proud of them. Monae, a talented free hand artist and Andre, a talented saxophonist. She especially loved watching his performances at the U of A, playing with the jazz band.
Helen worked at a local Fry’s in Oro Valley, as a Starbucks Barista and recently, moved up the ranks and became Manager. She really enjoyed and loved working with her fellow co-workers, who soon became her second family. Helen especially enjoyed serving her customers and they too became her friends. She sure could shake up those drinks!
Helen, your passing is such a great loss to all who knew and loved you. There is a huge hole in our hearts. The world is a little less bright. While you were taken away from us way too soon, we are comforted knowing that Heaven has gained a beautiful angel. You are no longer in pain. You will forever be in our hearts and will never be forgotten.
