Paul William Langseth Jr. (75) died February 7th, 2023, at his home in Tucson, Arizona after a prolonged battle with cancer.
He was born in Joliet, Illinois on February 20,1947, to parents Paul W. Langseth Sr. & Rosemary V. Langseth. He was the only child. After graduation in 1969 with a B.A.from Olivet University, Sociology, in Kankakee, Illinois & receiving two master’s -1972 MA, Olivette University, Elementary Education, Kankakee, Illinois 1972 M.E.D University of Arizona, Educational Administration, Tucson- Paul began his career as an educator in Wilmington, Illinois. His career included I.e., classroom teacher, administrative assistant, elementary school principal, owner, and operator of Parker Frozen Yogurt, carsales consultant, realtor, and coin collector & sales (US early copper coins).
Paul was a Parker Elks Lodge member for twenty-four years and was elected to theParker Town Council in 1995 & reelected for a second four-year term in 1999. While residing in Tucson, he was also a member of the Tucson Coin Club.
Paul is survived by his wife, Sharon Langseth, two sons Christopher Langseth & Matthew Langseth, two granddaughters, Christine Langseth & Allyson Langseth & his father Paul W. Langseth (100 yrs. Old).
A funeral Mass and celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at St. Mark Catholic Church, 2727 W. Tangerine Road, Oro Valley 85742.
The family expresses their grateful appreciation to Health Wealth Foundation for providing cancer grant in monies assisting cancer patients, & Arizona Oncology Dr. Bajaj and staff at 603 N. Wilmot, Suite 151, Tucson, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society are suggested.
