Message from Oro Valley Chief of Police

Good morning,

I am relaying the following message on behalf of Chief Riley:

Your Oro Valley Police Department (OVPD) would like to send out a reminder to the local churches and places of worship in the community to be vigilant and observant of any suspicious activity. There is no current or specific threat that we are aware of, but due to events throughout the country, we feel that a reminder to report any activity or persons that you feel are suspicious is appropriate. If you see something, say something. What you see or hear may seem small or not credible, but when combined with other information, could prevent a potential tragedy.
