Patriarchy has gotten a bad rap and reduced to the image of an abusive male. Patriarchy, however, means the rule of the family, that is, the order of love between mom, dad and child as it grows and changes over time. This weeks OVC is about the Transfiguration, Abraham and the light of the world.
