The diocese has asked for immediate support for all of our Catholic hospital workers at St. Mary's and St. Joseph's hospital. Each week of the Easter season for as long as needed we will be putting out a call for donations for the staff.
Updated Collection:
Thank you to everyone who donated gift cards and made thank you cards for the Catholic hospital staff. The gifts collected were given specifically to the ICU and ER staff of St. Mary's and St. Joseph's.
We are still continuing to gather donations for the staff of St. Mary's and St. Joseph's. This upcoming week we are asking for small care packages. The care packages can include individually wrapped snacks (such as granola bars, crackers, cookies, candy, etc.) with a small note of encouragement, thanks, or an uplifting quote from scripture.
Donations can be brought to our Parish Office mailbox Monday-Thursday, April 27th-30th from 9-3.
Thank you for supporting our Catholic healthcare workers that are serving us in a special way during this time of pandemic.
What a success, St. Mark!
We collected another 84 care packages for the hospitals from May 4th thru 7th.
Thank you for your generosity this past week, April 26th through May 3rd. We received 136 care packages for the ICU and ER units at St. Joseph's and St. Mary's Hospital. Both staffs are most grateful.
Thank You Notes:
I’m thankful for the goodie bag I received from your parish during nurses week. I couldn't help but smile for all the power snacks you gave. Your thoughtfulness made my day. Your kindness will always be remembered.
Sincerely,
J.O.
St. Mark's Community,
The St. Joe's COVID unit just received truly thoughtful and uplifting packages. Each package had a unique card with beautiful and encouraging words. These packages were special and they mean the world to us to know how supported we are as we go through these uncertain times. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for thinking of us and know your efforts were fully appreciated.
With gratitude,
The St Joe's COVID units
