The faith community of the Diocese of Tucson will gather at St. Augustine Cathedral Parish on Saturday, October 16, 2021, to honor Mary under her title of Our Lady of Sorrows. During this celebration, we will hear a keynote presentation on Our Lady of Sorrows, and participate in Eucharistic Adoration, Recitation of the Holy Rosary, and Eucharistic Benediction.
To prepare for this celebration, students from our Catholic schools, religious education programs, and home school programs, are invited and encouraged to submit a poster depicting “Our Lady of Sorrows Consoling My Family.” Youth ministers from around the Diocese of Tucson will select two winners from each grade level. Winners and their immediate family will be invited to a Pizza Party with Bishop Weisenburger, the Bishop of Tucson.
Open to: Kindergarten through 8th grade students
Theme: “Our Lady of Sorrows Consoling My Family”
Artwork: To be done freehand by the student
Materials: 8 x 11-inch paper with design on the front of the poster ONLY Any craft ideas are welcomed; however, please keep in mind the durability of any attached items (such as glued on beads, etc.)

Deadline: Saturday, October 16, 2021 You will also be able to drop off posters at St. Augustine Cathedral Parish on the day of the Arizona Rosary Celebration. A designated area will be marked.
